If your video material is larger than 15MB you can:
A) Upload large files to our FTP server:
1. Please register under "new user" on the following site with your e-mail address:
https://accellion.federationsquare.com.au
2. A verification code will be sent to this e-mail address with further instructions.
3. Now you can log onto the system with your e-mail address and your chosen password via
https://accellion.federationsquare.com.au
4. Once you have logged into the Secure File Transfer interface, insert into the 'to' field:
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
5. The email subject line should read 'Film submission USM08 - (your last name)’
6. Attach your large file and send
B) You can submit video material via post, but it is not required for the selection process. Also, please note: We might not be able to return it to you. Send it via post as ‘Film submission USM08 - (your last name)’ to: Multimedia, 1st flr, East Shard, Federation Square, VIC 3000 Melbourne, Australia
The disposal of the film and video works and copyrights
- All the copyrights for the submissions and works exhibited within the framework of USM08 belong to their authors.
- The curators can make the final decision on which screen and in which program slot the submitted work is shown during USM08.
- The organizers of USM08 are entitled to publish project documentation and use stills or short extracts of the previews only to popularize a USM08..
- At the end of the exposition, selected video works can be stored within the International Urban Screens Association.
- The organizers are not entitled to sell or to use the works with the view to make profit.
- All further non-profit-making use of the works is to be approved by the authors.
