To bridge the the Conference and the Multimedia Exhibition, USM08 Posters highlight the latest developments in the interdisciplinary field of Urban Screens, presenting speculative, ongoing research projects, and drawing conclusiong from practical experiments. A selection of images of the artists and researchers who introduced their submissions to conference delegates on Saturday 4 October in the Atrium at Federation Square. One international submission was made via Skype.

The film program was developed to both enhance the individuality of the films, yet allow some cohesive themes to be highlighted, particularly on the topics of community and water. A selection of these images were captured on the big screen at Federation Square.
